Our history

a journey through time into the heart of our hotel. From humble beginnings to the splendor that illuminates our premises today, every page of our history exudes a story of passion, dedication and continuous evolution.

Our beginning

Hotel R*** was built in 2009 on the cliffs by the sea shore and opened that same year. Next to the hotel, there is a landscaped beach with high walls emerging from the sea and an irregularly shaped pool filled with sea water.

Year 2010

A restaurant was built at the entrance to the beach and pool, which soon became famous throughout the region, attracting many visitors looking for excellent cuisine and a relaxing atmosphere.

Year 2012

Our beautiful garden, with an abundance of coastal vegetation, olive trees, maples and colorful flowers, has been winning awards from the Tourist Organization for the most beautifully arranged green area in Bar for years. In 2014, we received the first prize, in 2015, the second, and in 2016 and 2018, the third prize.

Year 2022

We are proud to announce the expansion of our offer with three new luxury apartments, in addition to the existing 15. Our De Luxe apartments offer modern furniture, all the necessary equipment and a wonderful view of the sea.

Hotel R*** is located on “the foam of the sea“, in the charming village of Kunje, known as Hladna uvala, on the most attractive part of the Bar Riviera between Bar and Ulcinj. Podgorica Airport is 40 km away, and Tivat is 56 km away, and transportation from/to the airport can be organized upon request. For guests with their own transport, parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The reception offers services 24 hours a day.

Below Hotel R there is a path for walking, surrounded by stones and vegetation characteristic of the Mediterranean area. On the beach of Hotel R there is an outdoor swimming pool with sea water, perfectly integrated into the natural environment, providing a unique experience where comfort meets nature. The beach is equipped with deck chairs and parasels, while beach towels are available to hotel guests.

The rooms and apartments exude comfort and modern design, offering an enchanting view of the island of “Stari Ulcinj“, the beach and the open sea.
